Jean Pearson of Highland Park, Barbaraville sadly passed away on Thursday 4th May 2023 at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness aged 94. She is greatly missed by her family, friends and all those who knew her.

Jean was happily married twice: first to John Breakwell, father to Robert (married to Diane) and Jane (married to Norman) and later to Tony Pearson. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Fiona (married to Alex), Andrew (engaged to Toni), Guy and Ellie. Fiona and Alex delighted her with her only great-grandson, Ewan, born in 2022. She will be missed by her wider family in England, several god-children and many friends in Scotland and beyond.
Jean made her home in the Highlands for over 40 years and was proud to have owned and run the Ben Loyal Hotel in Tongue for several years. Many will remember Jean for her love of music and dancing.

To Robert and family from Tony & Jean's niece, Jennifer Tremblay (our mom, Pamela was Tony's only sister) and family in Canada. Though we only met Aunt Jean and some of the family through zoom, we cherish that visit! You are all in our thoughts and hopefully someday we will meet in person! Rest in peace Aunty!
